1. COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION FORM and FIND YOUR APPLICATION NUMBER
If you do not already have an application form, go to www.passports.gov.au to complete it now. Forms have a barcode in the top right hand corner that begin with 111 or 778. This is your application number. It is NOT the PIN that is sent to you via email. Appointments without a valid application number will be cancelled.
2. GO TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE TO SELECT YOUR APPOINTMENT TYPE & LOCATION
You need to know what type of form you are using (PC7 or PC8). PC7 forms have a 71G barcode at the top of the page and are one page long. PC8 forms have a 81F barcode at the top of the first page and are five pages long.
3. CHOOSE YOUR APPOINTMENT DATE AND TIME
If no appointments are displayed, we are fully booked. Please check again on Monday at 7am (PST). You may also wish to check online throughout the week in case of cancellations.
4. RECEIVE APPOINTMENT DETAILS AND LOCATION VIA EMAIL
This usually occurs within 5 minutes. If you do not receive an email, please check your spam/junk folders.
Start by selecting one of the application types you require - eg. child application. You will then see the option to add additional applications to your booking. If you cannot find any available times for a group booking, separate your booking into individual applications - eg. book for one child, then book a separate appointment for the next child. This means that your appointments will not be consecutive.
San Francisco - appointments are available up to 3 weeks in advance. New appointments are opened on Mondays at 7am (Pacific time).
